Happy Halloween!

???Trick or Treat???

Unfortunately this is the only Halloween that I didn't went trick or treating... Ever since I could remember my siblings, my cousins and I, always go trick or treating. Its a fun activity no matter what age : ) The different kinds of candies/treats that you could have, little kids all dressed-up in their favorite cartoon character, fairy's, prince, wizards etc Hehe and of course scoping out cute guys whether their trick or treating or just simply driving around the village. I was stuck watching the tely the whole day. Its not bad actually... I topped off my night by watching Underworld Starmovies, I really love gothic type movies vampires, lycons etc.

Happy Halloween!

Lea's Home for Christmas

Lea Salonga will be having a concert by end of this year and I've been anticipating for the details since September (Where? When and How much?). I checked out the ticketnet website yesterday and my enthusiasm was clouded by hesitation. The Patron VIP (very very good seats) costs Php5275/person and the next very good seats Patron costs for about Php3165/person. *SiGhS* As you all know I'm currently a statistic (I'm not employed) ... A drawback... I considered my salary as extra money therefore spending it for watching concerts, plays, a small fraction goes to savings and buying other miscellaneous stuff. Its not that I have no money for the tickets its just that the prices are much higher than I expected. I'm having second thoughts with Php5000 or rather the Php 3000 I could buy DVD's, new rubbershoes or even add it up to my TD. Hmmm.... Although I've been waiting for this since forever .... I'm really having second thoughts....

When you're at the bottom, theres no other way but to go up...

A new and fresh start... that is what I aspire. I've been contemplating lately, sleepless nights. I've been asking myself questions, recollecting past events seeing things in a different perspective. Just this instance it hit me… I realized that I'd have to make my ideas, thoughts and dreams into something tangible. The world would not stop and wait for me... Moping around won’t do me good! And I quote from Oprah “Don’t waste the pretty!” that would be my new mantra. I’d like to share the lyrics of Fallen by Sarah McLachlan definitely a song that could relate to my present situation.

Heaven bend to take my hand
And lead me through the fire
Be the long awaited answer
To a long and painful fight
Truth be told I tried my best
But somewhere along the way
I got caught up in all there was to offer
And the cost was so much more than I could bear

Though I've tried I've fallen
I have sunk so low
I've messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here and
Tell me I told you so

We all begin with good intent
When love was raw and young
We believe that we can change ourselves
The past can be undone
But we carry on our back the burden time always reveals
In the lonely light of morning
In the wound that would not heal
It's the bitter taste of losing everything
I've held so dear

A Few Of My Favorite Things

Finally I've finished my Webpage! It's not that grand but I gave it my best shot! Hopefully in future (near future) I' d be able to learn flash so that I could materialize some ideas that I have for my website. I've been using notepad & front page to create my page and its quite limited for my imagination ;)

What Color Angel Are You?

fgjdfj

You're a "Green Angel". You're one person
who is extremely protective of people around
you (especially your friends) and you'd end up
as a guardian angel. You're stronger than most
and aren't ashamed to show it. People know how
tough you are and don't dare to mess with you
when you get mad. You're real close with your
friends and couldn't live without them so even
in heaven, you want to help them. You know
they'd want you as a guardian angel and you'd
love to be able to ensure safety of your
friends for yourself because you're on of those
"If you want something done right, do it
yourself" kind of person. (If you can't see
the pics, go to my homepage and look near the
bottom and find your result)

An Update on My Webpage

Hmm... How do i start this...? I know its been quite a while since i updated JTOL (formerly Rant N Rave). I'm busy with my website and as well as transferring my old blog to Blogger thus somewhat neglecting to post new entries. I've been exploring blog add-ons and decided to place a tagboard, I'd love to hear from you guys. Comments, suggestions and questions that you have in mind are welcome. I still have to finish 3 more artists ( the Music part of my webpage) I decided not to include all their albums and their lyrics, since it will take me forever to do it. I'm really excited to show off my site since its my first time to create a website. I have no formal studies so I'm keeping my fingers crossed XXX.

Patience is a Virtue

AhrGGggggg!!!!!!!! Today is the official US release of Walt Disney's Aladdin in DVD. One of my dreams would be to collect Original DVD copies of my favorite Walt Disney Classics and as of the moment I Only have 2. I'm just so frustrated since they would be realizing the Aladdin DVD region 3 on a much later date than in the US plus the DVD's that were released in other regions have special limited editions. Although there are VCD copies already in the Philippine market ( and how tempting considering its cheaper) P250 per CD quality is what I'm after. The 250 VCDs looked like pirated copies (poor printing etc). Anyways... Patience is a Virtue.
