Which Hero Are You?

t-na , you're Hiro Nakamura

Such a dreamer! Even when you're stuck in a rut, you still reach for the stars. Happy-go-lucky and trusting you may be, but silly you're not — you've definitely got a practical side. And no matter what the future holds for you, we know you'll have fun along the way!

What is your Bloginality

My Bloginality is ISTP!!!

As an ISTP, you are Intraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving.
This makes your primary focus on Introverted Thinking with Extraverted Sensing

This is defined as a SP personality, which is part of Carl Jung's Artisans (Sensation Seeking) type, and more specifically the Crafters or Mechanics.

Because of your desire for action and independance, you will change the format of blogging or design frequently to keep it interesting and different. Your loyalty may have you reading the same blogs over a long period of time. Even though you could be easily bored with blogging, you might find that because you like following a project through, this is a good way for you to use your alone time to sort the facts you pick up through the day.

Vote for my Lil' Brother!

Juan, my lil' brother, plays the flute in the school orchestra. Earlier this year my dad attended one of my brothers' school concert. Because of the nature of his job he rarely gets to attend school functions (including graduation) thus he was really excited and enthusiastic about it. After watching he made a remark/request that my brother should also perform and sing in the concert aside from playing his flute. We as a family enjoy music, and have bonding karaoke sessions for fun. My brother can carry a few tunes but he lacks something... so I encouraged him to enroll at Center for Pop Music Philippines(CPMP), just for fun and as a summer activity.

After finishing level one at CPMP, he surprised everybody during his recital. He was confident on stage and his voice was like "WOW" I just can't believe that he has improved a lot. While some of his peers forgot steps, lyrics of the song he just glided smoothly thru the recital.

A few weeks after the recital, Mama sent an email about an upcoming singing contest sponsored by FAME and Smart Link . We all encouraged him to join or at least audition for the contest, wala namang mawawala kung i-try niya. To make the long story short, Juan passed the auditions and my dads' request "to see my brother perform on stage" is finally within reach. The grand finals would be held at CCPs' Aliw theater on 09 November 2006 hosted by Paolo Bediones and Ruffa mae Quinto.

The contest has a "texters choice catergory" though I'm known for being a very lazy texter, I prefer calls than text, I'll make an exemption and vote for my brother.

If by any chance you're a SMART subscriber, PLEASE vote for my lil' brother (okay so he is almost 6ft.) by texting "LINK Juan" and send to 299 per text costs PHP 2.50

What is your 4400 ability?

Amongst all the series Korean/American/Filipino currently airing on the telly, I easily got hooked on the American series "The 4400".
"The 4400 tells the stories of 4,400 people who disappeared over a period of fifty years and they all reappear at the exact same time without any memory of where they've been and what happened to them. Some of them have been altered and have strange abilities, both good and bad. The series kicks off with a ball of light sailing toward Earth, but rather than the expected catastrophic event, thousands of people emerge from the ball of light. They returnees have been missing from a few years to several decades and no one has aged a day." (source: tv.com)

The much awaited season three starts ( in US) this month of July and has rumored to be the last installment. Season three includes 13 episodes, barely satisfying my 4400 addiction, I hope the rumors, regarding season 3 as the last season, aren't true. Locally, this series was aired in AXN and I've been waiting for a TV ad as to when will The 4400 season 3 start here.

Just a Random Thing

I was supposed to post a 200 random survey questionnaire that I answered in my vacant time. Unfortunately the attempts I made were futile. First attempt, as soon as I clicked the submit button our internet provider had some technical problems hence all the answers were erased. Second attempt, successfully answered, submitted and published but as I checked my blog the “format of the survey” was not friendly hence a 3rd attempt. I copied the “answered survey” in MSWord so that I’d reformat the layout to fit with my blog. I opened my blogger account to post the accomplished questionnaires. I pressed ctrl-a then ctrl-v and saved as draft. Happy and confident, so I thought, I did not save the word document and all that’s left is this:

Really Long Survey (over 200)

What is your name?: Kristina
Are you named after anyone?: No, I wasn't.
What's your screename?: t-na
Would you name a child of yours after you?: Yes, I would

I'd like to be named "Martin"
If you could switch names with a friend who would it be?: Joey
Are there any mispronounciations/typos that ppl do w/ your name constantly?:
Yes, they usually spell it with a "C" or a "CH"
Would you drop your last name if you became famous?: No, I wouldn't

Basics
Your gender:: female
Straight/Gay/Bi: straight

I'd probably continue answering this when I'm in the mood already hehehe.

BBC World Challenge: Support the Filipino Inventors

Do you know that the Philippines' coconut geotextile (aka coconet) for soil erosion control has been chosen as one of the 12 finalists in Newsweek and BBC's (British Broadcasting Corporation) World's World Challenge?

The World Challenge is basically a competition/search designed at identifying groups or individuals all over the world whose projects have contributed great impact at grass roots level. A documentary about Philippine Coconut geotextile or coconet industry will be shown on the BBC World cable channel on September 24 around 8:30 GMT.

"The World Challenge" already offers a tremendous exposure and publicity to our flourishing Philippine coconut geotextile industry and to our Philippine coconut fiber exporters. But it would be great liberation for our country, which has been getting very bad publicity nowadays, to win this prestigious competition.

I am a Statistic

Finally I figured out how to post Radio blog in JTOL! after 3 days of reading their forum, the instructions that came with the file was just not so user-friendly. Nothing much to post... Well I've been watching the 4-5 hrs of debate in congress regarding the controversial tapes... the only consolation is seeing Cavite Representative Gilbert Remulla, chairman of the House committee on public information because he's cute hehehe other than that is pure chaos. Session will resume on wednessday with respect to Cardinal Sins' death.

The Interview with God

I just finished reading and answering a couple of e-mails my friends sent me and with time to spare I browsed through the internet. I came across this website. This was not the typical job interview that I used give out when I was still working (wherein you have a ready set of questions in mind... too redundant).
.... What If I was given a chance to interview God...
I definitely recommend that you watch the presentation its worth while your precious time... Well isn't HE?

Eyes Shut

by Rose A. Balmes

Whenever I close my eyes
I find myself once again
standing at the edge
The downcast sky pout down
Warning me of its coming rage
Staying unmindful of the strong winds
that are forcing me down to my knees
Undaunted by the deatening thunder,
Unbelieving of the blinding lighting bolts
that are breaching the sky
The heavens vented their rage
Grenching the fiery trees
Beating my helpless body
But still standing on the edge,
Surrounded by red waters
Patiently waiting,
For the time to jump

** Rose or "Ate Rose" as I call her is my artistic and morena beauty cousin. I was browsing through her journal and was asked which among her sketches and poems did I like most. I chose this one and eventually i'd like to scan the sketch that she made.

Which kind of candy are you?

cho
You're chocolate. You're the old soul type, people
feel that they have known you their entire
life. Many often open up to you for they view
you as thoughtful and trustworthy. Although
people trust you, you have a hard time trusting
them. You prefer to keep your feelings bottled
up inside, or display them very quietly. It is
alright to open up every once in a while.

..And She Was Gone...

.

"And She Was Gone"
By Ginger Foutley

from the season 3
episode

She chose to walk alone
Though others wondered why
Refused
to look before her,
Kept eyes cast upwards,
Towards the sky.

She didn't have companions
No need for earthly things.
Only wanted freedom,
From what she felt were
Puppet strings.

She longed to be a
bird. That she might fly away.
She pitied every blade of grass
For planted they would stay.

She longed to be a flame,
That brightly danced alone.
Felt jealous of the steam
That made the air its only home.

Some say she wished too hard.
Some say she wished too long.
But we awoke one autumn day
To find that she was gone.

Some say she wished too hard.
Some say she wished too long.
But we awoke one autumn day
To find that she was gone.

The trees, they say stood witness.
The sky refused to tell.
But someone who had seen it said
The story played out well.

She spread her arms out wide.
Breathed in the break of dawn.
She just let go of all she held...

And then she was gone...

What Color Angel Are You?

fgjdfj

You're a "Green Angel". You're one person
who is extremely protective of people around
you (especially your friends) and you'd end up
as a guardian angel. You're stronger than most
and aren't ashamed to show it. People know how
tough you are and don't dare to mess with you
when you get mad. You're real close with your
friends and couldn't live without them so even
in heaven, you want to help them. You know
they'd want you as a guardian angel and you'd
love to be able to ensure safety of your
friends for yourself because you're on of those
"If you want something done right, do it
yourself" kind of person. (If you can't see
the pics, go to my homepage and look near the
bottom and find your result)
